Part of our commitment is to keep you and the roads safe by educating DWI/DUI offenders of the dangers of driving under the influence. We offer small class sizes in a professional environment.

Laws requires any person convicted of a first offense DWI to successfully complete this class. For some, this class can be taken for the purpose of obtaining a driver’s license after it has been suspended.  The current curriculum also reflects the cumulative clinical experiences and practical knowledge over the decades from our counselors and partners.

All classes are in close proximity to public transportation.  Immediate Certificates are available upon completion and referral services upon request. It is hoped that by providing a curriculum of basic knowledge, those convicted will be provided with the information necessary to make more informed decisions in the future.

AboutFace counselors have a combined total of 40 years counseling experience. All classes are taught by Certified Addictions Counselors who perform personalized assessments with convenient Saturday and Evening classes.

The current curriculum and clinical approach employed by Aboutface DUI follows the mainstream Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach commonly found in counseling psychology, which emphasizes the recognition and awareness of one’s substance use problems and following specific prescriptions of behavioral modifications that aim at recognizing stress-provoking events and coping skills.

Upon completion of the course, the participant is presented with a State issued numbered certificate of completion.

"Great areas of the course involved focusing on all the other factors that contribute to drinking and driving and subsequent DWI arrests.

"Aboutface DUI Instructors were very knowledgeable and also certified counselors with the best part of the course being how they dispelled a lot of myths and misconceptions about drinking alcohol.

"Critical information was given about the factors that can influence one's driving performance and the steps that need to be taken to avoid and correct them." "I learned so much more than I was expecting about alcohol and drugs and how they affect me while driving."
